Building a Better Bagel Bucket

Building a Better Bagel
Executive Summary

A redesigned bagel bucket helps Einstein Bros. save money, boost efficiency, lower its carbon footprint and showcase its bagels and schmear.

Business Problem

Einstein Bros. Bagels needed a new sustainable box for its bagels and schmear that would make loading easier and more efficient and speed service.

Solution

HAVI designed a 100 percent recyclable bagel bucket with side-loading inserts to hold two schmear tubs. The inserts speed operations by allowing the crew to drop the schmears directly into a filled bucket without opening and reclosing it. The bucket features a closure that can be pre-constructed and stacked for space savings and has an interlocking handle to be more ergonomic.
